IFFCO Chowk under CCTV surveillance

Following with the incidences of police attack when he was on duty and also recurring incidents of commuters being robbed the Gurgoan police have decided to install CCTV CAMERAS at IFFCO CHOWK. This installation process was inaugurated by commissioner of police MR.Alok Mittal. In that inaugural function he said “This was a small effort on the part of the Gurgaon police. Our next target is to install CCTV cameras on Shankar Chowk, South City Chowk and Rajiv Chowk in East police area. Soon, the main areas and the chowk of the city will also be under CCTV surveillance. These are fixed cameras and we are trying to install the PTZ zoom cameras at all the main destinations in the city". He also said that all future installations in Gurgaon will have cameras with better resolution and zoom option. "In the next 20 days, we will check how the cameras function and see if there are any issues that need to be addressed," Bhupender Singh Sangwan, ACP (DLF) said that total 8 CCTV cameras have been installed at IFFCO Chowk. He said that these cameras are proved as a big help to nab the criminals and solve crime. Thus CCTV cameras helps in many ways to prevent crime and moniter some activities which is happening in and around.
