100 CCTV cameras put up at strategic locations in flood and flood prone areas to view and initiate real-time measures in mumbai an official said Wednesday . Mayor Sunil Prabu promised that during rainy season,people in city as well as its suburbs would not be inconvenienced ,Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai(MCGM) had installed 16 CCTV cameras and Mumbai traffic police had set up another 84 CCTV cameras at various locations in the city said Mayor Sunil Prabu and all these have been directly linked to the Mumbai Diaster Management Cell at the MCGM headquarters.Preparations for pre-monsoon in mumbai are discussed with Standing Committee Chairman Rahul Shewale and other Senior officials.The MCGM has installed 220 pumps at 185 chronic flood prone areas around mumbai to pump out water.
