CCTV coverage for women staff Security

All the organizations who employ women staff in the Bokaro district have been instructed to install the CCTV CAMERAS in their corresponding premises. The district administrations have also decided to install the CCTV cameras in the public places too. Further considering the safety of women and girls at home the women’s helpline will be launched. The authorities believe that installation of CCTV cameras at vital points will work as a protection for women. If all goes well, organizations with women employees, marketing complex, shopping centers, restaurants, theatres, girls' hostels, educational institutions, will have CCTV cameras installed in it.
The residents of the township seem to have been responding well to the decision of the district administration. Dipak Gupta, owner of hotel Hans Regency, said, "CCTV cameras have been installed on the hotel premises to instill a sense of security in our women employees as also visitors to our hotels."
Ashok Singh, principal, Chinmaya Vidyalaya, said, "We have already installed CCTV cameras on the school campus. But following SP Kuldeep Dwivedi's suggetions, we are going to install CCTV cameras on the main gate to keep a strict vigil on the activities outside the school premises to ensure the security of our girl students."
